Ego is a Drug

Being right is different from winning.

Ego often overpowers the average person's path to success. Every situation isn’t meant for you to be right. Sometimes the best scenario is the one where you keep the ability to keep growing and doing what you love.

In a credit-less environment, your gut can push you to seek credit and reinforcement. In reality, the best outcome may require you to be selfless and a team player. Participate in activities that are bigger than you! Ironically, that’s where you usually find wins that are bigger than anything you can do on your own.

Remind yourself that each day doing something you love is another day avoiding doing something you can’t stand.
