Comfort, routine, and regularity are motions most of us feel comfortable with. However, the goals we set and places we want to go call for different conditions.
Whether it’s moving away from people that aren’t healthy to be around, moving to a new place, starting new ventures, or changing habits, they all create an initial worry of the unknown and discomfort.
Most of the time, if you’re able to take that first step, you quickly realize the change you needed to make wasn’t as intimidating as you imagined. You may end up surprising yourself with what you’re capable of too.
No one is exempt from these feelings. It’s a lot to take on, even if you tell yourself it’s not a big deal. I encourage you to take initiative, make plans, and don’t avoid change. That “new” plan, new move, or different routine you’re considering can change your life for the better.
